(More customer reviews)I have some really good headphones and earphones.I own Ultimate Ears super-fi 5's and Grado SR80's.I don't know if that makes me an audiophile or not, but I *do* know what good ear/head phones sound like.These sound pretty good for the money.I use them when I work around the house or ride my bike.The UE's are too isolating and the Grado's too bulky to use other than lying down or sitting down.So, these are good to wear when active.They fit in my ear nicely and have a pretty even sound.Might be thin in the bass end of things for you, but I find they are more or less accurate with a bias toward the high end of things.They're good enough to let me know that Metallica's "Death Magnetic" has very bad sound quality.Devin Townsend sounds crisp if a bit thin in them.They have pretty good details for little earphones that cost under $20.
As another review notes, they are not "silent," "retractable" or "behind the neck."I have no idea why the product description says that.But, they are fine little 'phones for the money.
